• We will follow MDC Calendar but It will be a Drop OFF Enrichment Center.
• This Program is specially designed for those Students whose parents have to work, or simply rather not be the ones doing the homeschooling.

What Makes The Center Different From Other Programs?  We are NOT a Private School, nor do we offer Full time enrollment to the students. We are a Homeschool Enrichment Center with a P/T option were students can have multiple classes in one day. We work with all Homeschooling Familes in S. Florida. 

We excel in creating an atmosphere where students are taught the unique method of "learning how to learn"; this happens in a stress free environment suited for the full integration of their brain. Our primary focus is not the traditional style of learning but rather to surpass any generic classroom norm. Not confined to an uncomfortable chair all day allows the student to feel relaxed, facilitating his/her concentration. We want to provide an environment where neither negative criticism nor embarrassment disturb a scholar's ability to shine. We teach using " Love and Logic "  method that instills both creativity and self reliance. We also, focus on helping the entire family with our very own Parent Seminars that are offered three to four times a year.

Why is it that the school has a "no homework" policy?

We believe in FAMILY TIME / No Homework allows the Families to have more time to spend together. Parents don't take home their work, why should a child?

Do students have to take the FCAT's?

We do not take the FCAT. When registered with Home Education FCAT is NOT Mandatory. Instead, we do an annual educational evaluation ( Portfolio Review)  in which we document the student's demonstration of educational progress at a level that commensurates with their abilities. We prefer to let our teachers have the maximum amount of class time to teach .

Are uniforms required?

No, uniforms are NOT required. Students are encouraged to blossom, be creative, and show their unique styles, as long as it's within handbook rules and regulations. We want the students to feel comfortable and not judged.

We want them to Create programs, and have a Say in what They want to learn.

Is there a music program?

We do not have a formal music program, however we encourange students and parents that can contribute to this program to please help in teaching. We want a music focus like songwriting, Choir or a Capella singing. And, we are planning to start a Band very soon with Students that may be Interested.

Do you have an art class?

Art is integrated into our curriculum; the art projects that students will create directly relate to the topics they are learning about in other classes.

Do you have special projects or reports?

Students complete many different types of projects and reports throughout each term. At the end of every term, students participate in Culminating Events where they showcase what they have learned to their families and friends. ( Show and Tell )

Do students switch between classrooms?

No, there is only one class room for the students, hhowever often we will switch locations in the Park for Hands on Activities. We will allways have Superevisiion of a teacher, volunteer parents or staff member from the Center. 

What is your discipline system?

Students are expected to take responsibility for their learning and their behavior. Actions which disrupt the learning environment are first addressed with the student and then with the parent. If the problem continues it will be referred to the Center Director who will then take the appropriate measures. It has been our experience that parental support and reinforcement of  policies is a very effective solution to most behavioral concerns.
